Paul Wolf Lighting & Electric Supply Ltd. began in 1963. Paul Wolf, his wife Annette, a counter man, and one order desk person began mainly in lighting.
As he grew he leased two stores on Queen Street for storage. Five years later the company moved to 735 Queen Street West, where he had the basement, first and second floors. Paul continued to grow and expand his product offering.
Another five years passed, and Paul moved to 775 King Street West. Paul now had nearly 50,000 sq. feet, substantial free parking, and a full compliment of product lines and quadrupled his staff.
The fall of 1995, Paul Wolf then 65 years young, and truly one of the most colourful, now legendary men in the industry decided to hand over his legacy to the people that helped make it happen. On February 29, 1996 Six Partners Inc. John Boccongelle, Dean Hamill, Scott Schooley, Cosimo Amato, Domenic Calabria and Bruce Milligan took hold of the reins. Paul stayed on semi-retirement returning to his roots as a salesman and consultant to the employee group.
In August of 1998 Six Partners purchased Kester Electric Supply Limited, to act as their industrial division. Kester Electric a family owned business began in 1979. In November of 1999 John Boccongelle retired, and the owners were now five.
